Bookkeeping and tax services, powered by CharFlo.

CharFlo organizes and checks the work while Charcounting professionals complete the bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax preparation, filing, and ongoing support.

Bookkeeping

Bookkeeping & categorization

Bank and card statements and receipts are read, reconciled against one another, and sorted into an industry-specific chart of accounts. Duplicates are removed; anything uncertain becomes a question for a person, never a guess.

Statements

Reconciliation & financial statements

Profit & loss, balance sheet and cash-flow reports from a clean ledger or trial balance. The arithmetic is deterministic and independently checked: totals balance, or the discrepancy is shown plainly. We never force books to balance by inventing figures.

Tax

Tax preparation & filing

Tax documents are organized against current published guidance, with flags, questions, and citations surfaced for review. A qualified tax professional determines tax treatment, calculates liability, prepares the return, and files it with the appropriate tax authority.

Portal

Client portal & secure vault

A private, access-controlled space to upload documents, follow the status of your books, answer questions and message the firm. Uploads arrive through a controlled inbox the firm reviews before anything enters the workflow.

Bank feeds

Bank-connection intake

Where you choose, accounts can be connected to bring in transaction history through a secure, client-authorized, read-only connection when that capability is enabled for the engagement. You start it and can disconnect it. The connection cannot move money.

Knowledge

Firm knowledge & research

The platform maintains a firm knowledge base and retrieves cited reference material to support review work, so guidance and prior decisions stay consistent across engagements.

People stay in control. AI does the preparation and surfaces suggestions; a qualified member of the firm reviews and approves the work. Account mappings, categorizations, review notes and client answers are proposals until a person accepts them. Anything consequential, or anything leaving the firm, requires human sign-off.
